Cutbank, in some form or fashion, has been making music for 2 years now so it's about time we put out an album. "The Backroads" is inspired and colored by our experiences living in the American West. Things happen, we act stupidly, laugh our asses off, get angry, screw up, get drunk and learn… all in the context of the cities, mountains, rivers, oceans, forests, deserts, of the Pacific Northwest. These stories and their settings are inextricable from one another.
